Sitting in The waiting room at memorial hospital waiting while my wife is being operated on her stomach. She has been in pain for 8 weeks hopefully after this procedure she will be fine. She needs to have a part of her colon removed, not an easy recovery. This whole experience has taught me patience, what is important and compassion. There are a lot of things in life that we have no control over and a loved ones health is a tough one. You almost wish you could suffer
their pain for them, but of course we can not. Just try and make them as comfortable as possible.
When you are in this kind of pain the last thing you want to hear is, “this too shall pass”, even though it will.
